The Philips PerfectCare Compact Essential GC6815/26 is a steam-generator iron for larger laundry loads, bedding, uniforms and customers who want stronger continuous steam than a conventional steam iron can provide. The separate base produces high-pressure steam while the lightweight iron glides across the fabric.
OptimalTEMP technology removes the need to change a temperature dial between suitable ironable fabrics. The system balances soleplate temperature and steam so cotton, denim, polyester and other ironable materials can be handled in sequence.
High-pressure steam
Up to 6 bar pump pressure delivers continuous steam of up to 120g/min, helping steam penetrate thicker fabric and larger folds. A boost of up to 360g is available for stubborn creases and vertical steaming.
Steam output varies during heat recovery and with scale condition. Allow the system to build pressure before starting and avoid repeatedly holding the boost control without pause.
OptimalTEMP Technology
There is no conventional fabric-temperature dial. OptimalTEMP is designed to prevent burns on ironable fabrics when the appliance is used according to the manual. Always check garment labels and never iron materials marked as non-ironable.
1.3L water tank
The separate 1.3L tank supports longer ironing sessions between refills. Use only the water type recommended by Philips and do not add perfume, starch, vinegar or descaling chemicals. The tank and hose connections should be checked before use.
SteamGlide soleplate
