The Marshall Heston Sub 200 is designed as a dedicated bass extension for Marshall's Heston TV soundbar range. Its dual 5.25-inch subwoofers work together to produce powerful and precise low frequencies, adding greater depth and physical impact to explosions, soundtracks, music and other bass-heavy content. The ported cabinet design helps the subwoofer deliver its low-end performance efficiently.
Two Class D amplifiers rated at 120W each provide a combined 236W of peak audio output, while the 30Hz–150Hz frequency range is dedicated to the low frequencies where a soundbar benefits most from additional reinforcement. With a maximum sound pressure level of 99dB, the Heston Sub 200 is capable of delivering substantial bass for a home entertainment setup.
Wireless pairing makes installation simple. The Heston Sub 200 connects to compatible Marshall Heston soundbars using Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio, allowing it to be positioned flexibly in the same room without requiring a signal cable between the soundbar and subwoofer. It is specifically compatible with Heston soundbars such as the Heston 60 and Heston 120.
For additional flexibility, the subwoofer also features a wired SUB IN connection using RCA mono. The Marshall app provides control and adjustment options, including crossover-frequency adjustment and phase inversion, allowing the bass response to be fine-tuned to suit the room and the rest of the audio system.
