Product overview
The Philips Viva Collection HR1836/05 is a compact centrifugal juicer for apples, carrots, cucumbers, grapes, pineapple and other compatible fruit and vegetables. Its QuickClean design reduces the number of difficult corners around the sieve and pulp container, making regular juicing more practical for everyday households.
The integrated pulp container keeps the body compact, while the transparent design lets the user see when emptying is required. Philips states that compatible models in this compact platform can produce up to approximately 1.5 litres of juice in one session before the pulp container needs attention.
Fast centrifugal extraction
The motor spins the stainless-steel sieve at high speed, separating liquid from pulp. Hard produce should be cut only as needed to fit the feeding tube. Thick inedible peel and hard stones must be removed before juicing.
QuickClean maintenance
Juicer residue dries quickly, particularly around the sieve. Rinse the removable components immediately after use and clean the mesh before fibres harden. The integrated smooth pulp container is designed to reduce places where residue can collect.
Drip-stop spout
The spout can be positioned to reduce drips after the juice container is removed. It should not be forced while blocked, and the appliance should be cleaned if pulp begins to restrict the outlet.
Ingredient guidance
Apples, carrots, cucumbers, celery, grapes and peeled citrus are suitable. Bananas, avocados and mangoes contain little free juice and are normally better used in a blender. Very hard materials such as sugar cane must not be processed.
