Features that matter
Electric cooling
The electric cooling system supplies the cooled-water mode; check the rated output against your expected pace of use.
Hot-water lock
A listed hot-water safety lock adds a control step. Hot water still needs adult supervision, especially around children.
Lower cabinet
The cabinet adds storage below the taps. It is not refrigerated unless a refrigerator function is specifically listed.

Ways to use it at home or work
- Home hydration station: keep drinking water accessible in the kitchen or dining area.
- Office and reception areas: give staff and visitors a dedicated place to fill cups.
- Tea and instant drinks: use the hot-water function where fitted and follow the drink preparation instructions.
Choosing the right model
Compare the actual water modes and cooling system, then check the dimensions and bottle-loading arrangement. Normal water means ambient-temperature water. Cooling output is a rated figure, and recovery depends on room conditions and how quickly cups are filled. A dispenser is not automatically a water purifier.
Care and maintenance
- Use potable bottled water and fit the bottle or pickup tube as instructed. Fill the water system before switching on heating.
- Unplug before cleaning. Wash the drip tray and clean taps and water-contact parts on the schedule in the manual.
- Keep ventilation openings clear and leave the installation space required by Mika. Follow the model-specific draining and sanitising instructions when changing bottles or storing the unit.
